Our take on HealthRX
HealthRX’s GLP-1 product pages separate the amount due today from the recurring charge. Compounded semaglutide is $99 initially and $165 per monthly renewal; tirzepatide is $99 initially and $214 thereafter. The company says the selected plan includes medication if prescribed, clinical review, instructions and overnight shipping without a separate membership. Those are provider disclosures, not an all-in quote for every patient. Injection supplies are specifically unconfirmed as a standard inclusion in the product FAQ. Ask the dispensing pharmacist which supplies are provided, rather than assuming free shipping includes everything needed.
The renewal calendar and medication quantity need separate attention. The monthly product table lists a four-week supply but a charge every month. Its three-, six- and twelve-month plans list twelve, twenty-four and forty-eight weeks of medication while renewing after three, six or twelve months. A lower advertised monthly equivalent therefore does not establish continuous medication coverage for that many calendar months. Ask how the difference is handled, whether additional medication would cost extra, and whether shipments contain separate unopened vials. The billing checklist explains why supply length alone cannot establish the charge interval. Prepaid and subscription choices are also different. The product FAQ says the monthly option is subscription-only, while longer terms can be selected as one-time purchases. A one-time order does not renew; Subscribe & Save renews at the selected interval until canceled. The pricing page describes a subscriber credit already reflected in the displayed recurring rate, so do not subtract it again. The headline “from” figure belongs to a longer prepaid plan, not the month-to-month option. Keep the final checkout price, renewal date and purchase type together. Prepaying can increase the money committed before the patient knows whether treatment will remain appropriate.
Payment precedes the medical intake. HealthRX describes independent clinicians reviewing the submitted information in approximately twenty-four hours, but that is a service estimate rather than guaranteed approval or arrival. Its terms promise a full refund of the related charge if the clinician declines after payment. They also say support processes the refund manually after the decline is recorded and that bank timing varies. Ask how a declined prescription is communicated and how to confirm the refund request. A completed payment or intake does not establish that a prescription will be issued. Confirm whether recent records or laboratory work are needed for the actual treatment. The refund sources need reading together. The FAQ and pricing page say an unshipped dose can be refunded, while the formal prescription policy says sales become final after the medicine is charged and handed to the carrier. It also discusses medication already dispensed. These descriptions do not provide one unambiguous cancellation cutoff for every processing stage. Ask for the binding cutoff before paying, and distinguish stopping a future subscription from reversing an already processed order. The policy provides a support route for damaged or lost packages; its supplement money-back guarantee should not be transferred to prescription medication.
HealthRX describes itself as a platform, saying it neither employs the clinicians nor owns the pharmacy. The public pages refer to independent clinicians authorized in the patient’s state and an unnamed US-licensed 503A pharmacy. Those claims do not independently establish the actual assignment or current license status. Ask for the treating clinician, medical group, dispensing pharmacy and relevant board record. Its terms allow requesting a different pharmacy before completing the order, but that does not promise the same price or availability there. The pharmacy-check guide helps separate a platform disclosure from a dispensing license.
The site’s branded-trial summaries are explicitly not results for its compounded preparations. Compounded semaglutide is not Wegovy, and a shared ingredient does not establish identical absorption, effectiveness or quality. The compounded semaglutide guide explains that distinction. HealthRX also promotes a longevity category, but GLP-1 prices, laboratory requirements and refund terms do not establish the conditions for every other treatment. The metformin evidence guide explains why longevity marketing and an approved diabetes indication are separate questions.
What HealthRX costs
| Product | Real monthly cost | |
|---|---|---|
| Compounded semaglutideInjection | $165/mo | $165/mo |
| Compounded tirzepatideInjection | $214/mo | $214/mo |
Prices are taken from HealthRX's own site and current as of this update. Real monthly cost folds in required fees and turns four-week billing into calendar months; that's our math.
Compounded semaglutide skips FDA approval: no one at the FDA judges whether it is safe, whether it works, or how well it was made before a pharmacy sends it out.

What signing up looks like
Select the exact purchase type
Compare the monthly subscription with longer prepaid terms and any one-time option. Save the amount due, renewal interval and medication supply length.
Pay, then submit the intake
The product page places payment before clinical review. HealthRX estimates review in approximately twenty-four hours; approval is not guaranteed.
Confirm prescribing and dispensing
If prescribed, request the actual clinician and pharmacy details, product label, supplies and storage instructions. A declined prescription triggers the stated refund process.
Manage delivery and renewal
The company advertises overnight shipment after approval and processing. Cancel future renewals by email and confirm the cutoff for an order already in progress.
Who prescribes, and the pharmacy
HealthRX says it connects patients with independent state-authorized clinicians and a US-licensed 503A pharmacy, without employing the clinicians or owning the pharmacy. No specific dispensing pharmacy or treating medical group is named in the reviewed pages. Confirm the actual assignment and relevant licenses; its terms allow a different-pharmacy request before ordering.
Where HealthRX does well
- Distinguishes the introductory payment from the monthly renewal on both GLP-1 product pages.
- Publishes medication supply lengths alongside prepaid renewal terms.
- Terms describe a refund after clinical denial and explain manual processing.
- Longer plans can be selected as one-time purchases instead of subscriptions.
- Product pages explicitly distinguish compounded preparations from the branded trial results.
What to check first
- Four-week medication supply and calendar-month billing are different; longer plans also list fewer weeks than their calendar terms.
- Injection supplies are not confirmed as a standard inclusion.
- Payment occurs before intake, and clinical denial refunds require processing after the denial is recorded.
- FAQ unshipped-dose language and formal prescription-return cutoffs need written reconciliation.
- Neither the dispensing pharmacy nor the treating medical group is identified in the reviewed pages.
It fits you if
You want a disclosed introductory and monthly GLP-1 renewal price, and can confirm supply coverage, injection supplies and the actual clinical and pharmacy assignment before paying.
Look elsewhere if
You need the clinical assessment before payment, a named dispensing pharmacy before ordering, or a prepaid quote that clearly covers the entire calendar term.

Questions about HealthRX
- How much does HealthRX cost a month?
- Its product pages list compounded semaglutide at $99 initially then $165 per monthly renewal, and tirzepatide at $99 then $214. The monthly medication quantity is four weeks; ask how any calendar-month coverage gap is handled.
- Do I pay before clinical review?
- Yes. The product pages place payment before intake. The terms promise a full refund of the related charge after clinical denial, with manual support processing and bank-dependent timing.
- Are injection supplies included?
- The product FAQ says supplies are not confirmed as a standard inclusion. Ask the pharmacy what is provided with the exact prescription and what must be purchased separately.
- Which states does HealthRX serve?
- Its FAQ advertises adults aged eighteen and older in all fifty states. Confirm the selected product, clinician authorization and dispensing availability for the actual address.
- Can I cancel future renewals?
- The reviewed pages allow cancellation by email. A one-time purchase does not renew. Ask for the processing cutoff: the FAQ discusses unshipped-dose refunds, while the formal policy also limits returns after dispensing and carrier handoff.
