Our take on SnagRx
SnagRx sells two drugs, compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, as weekly injections at one flat price for every dose. Paying month to month, semaglutide is $99 a month and tirzepatide is $149, and that price covers the medication, supplies, the doctor review and shipping. There's no membership fee and no insurance involved. Three-, six- and 12-month plans lower the monthly figure, but each one is charged in full the day you buy it.
That last point matters, because the homepage leads with its lowest figure. The big price on the sale banner, next to a crossed-out "was" price and a countdown clock, is the 12-month rate, and the homepage never says so. Only the terms list every plan length with its up-front total. If you want to pay one month at a time, the month-to-month price is the one to budget for. The compounded semaglutide cost guide shows how prepaid plans compare with monthly billing over a year.
The refund rules are strict. Every payment is final the moment you pay, even if you never finish the intake, and a multi-month plan is sold as one purchase, so unused months are never refunded. The only exception is a clinician deciding you aren't medically eligible, and then the value of services already given comes off the refund. The company's own pages also disagree on how much notice you need to cancel: the refund policy says 72 hours before your next bill, while the terms mention five days, or 48 hours if checkout says so. Cancel at least five days early to be safe.
Care comes from OpenLoop Health, a network of US-licensed clinicians, who are expected to review your chart within 24 hours. Its site describes dose adjustment through refill requests in the patient portal; the prescriber decides the individual schedule, while nursing staff provide ongoing support. SnagRx names four 503A partner pharmacies with their addresses and ships next day in temperature-controlled packaging. The footer identifies Modern Metabolic Medicine as its operator; confirm the pharmacy assigned to your individual order. Louisiana isn't served. See how it scores on the compounded semaglutide lineup or the compounded tirzepatide lineup.
What SnagRx costs
| Product | Real monthly cost | |
|---|---|---|
| Compounded semaglutideInjection | $99/mo | $99/mo |
| Compounded tirzepatideInjection | $149/mo | $149/mo |
Prices are taken from SnagRx's own site and current as of this update. Real monthly cost folds in required fees and turns four-week billing into calendar months; that's our math.
Compounded semaglutide skips FDA approval: no one at the FDA judges whether it is safe, whether it works, or how well it was made before a pharmacy sends it out.
