Our take on Found

Found’s cash one-cycle plans include clinical care, compounded medication and membership. Eligible new one-cycle members receive a lower first-cycle price; the semaglutide first-cycle calendar-month equivalent is $179, rather than the standing rate. Found prints these as monthly figures but expressly bills every four weeks, or 28 days. The calculated standing-price calendar-month equivalents are $313.94 and $389.99. Those equivalents annualize the recurring rate; they are not the cash charged in a particular month. Enrollment followed by 28-day renewals produces 14 payment dates within the first 365 days, with the last payment covering time beyond that year. Use the cost calculator to separate the first payment, recurring rate and time covered.

The lowest banner is a different commitment. Found’s pricing page bases its lowest cash and insurance semaglutide figures on a 12-month plan paid up front. Its offer table defines the generics and branded membership’s 12-month term as 48 weeks, not a full calendar year. Ask for the exact duration, total collected today, renewal amount and cancellation consequence for the particular compounded plan before prepaying. The product pages say compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide stay the same price at every dose; that is an attributed pricing statement, not a promise that any dose or medicine will be clinically appropriate. The compounded semaglutide cost guide explains why an introductory offer and a standing price answer different questions.

Insurance can change the clinical-care portion, but it does not insure the compounded medicine or the Found subscription. The current billing consent explicitly treats both as noncovered charges and says members must not submit compounded-medication charges to their health plan. Insurance members have synchronous video visits, while cash care is text-based in most cases. Found’s pricing page describes a typical visit copay, but your deductible, coinsurance, network status and uncovered services can make the actual amount different. The offer terms exclude government-insurance plans, and laboratory services are separately charged when applicable. The billing consent also sets a separate no-show fee for an appointment missed or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice. Confirm the written estimate and benefits with the clinic and insurer; the plan’s smaller headline is not the entire patient bill.

Refund details need particular care. The offer policy first says a membership refund is available for cancellation within three days of purchase or before the first consultation, then says the fee becomes nonrefundable after either event. That wording does not clearly promise an unlimited pre-consultation window: ask support which deadline governs and retain the answer. A separate exception grants a membership refund if the consultation disqualifies you from all treatment options; rejection of your preferred GLP-1 alone does not qualify if another treatment remains available. Medication and lab kits are nonreturnable and nonrefundable once dispensed or shipped; copays and renewal payments are nonrefundable. Found recommends canceling or pausing at least 48 hours before renewal and allows up to 30 days to process a refund. Compare the terms with the billing checklist before choosing a longer commitment.

Found Health provides administrative and platform services; the terms identify independent clinical groups, including Pippen Health, Cloud Health Medical Group and Adept Labs doing business as Vital with Openloop Healthcare Partners. The telehealth consent additionally names SteadyMD Physician Group. Those disclosures do not identify the particular clinician assigned to you or independently verify current credentials. Found describes its clinicians as board-certified and its compounding partners as state-licensed pharmacies operating under section 503A, with third-party testing. Section 503A is a federal compounding framework, not a separate pharmacy license. The reviewed documents do not name the dispensing pharmacy or supply your dispensed medicine’s testing report, so request both before dispensing. Found’s pages also acknowledge state restrictions, and its insurance-state selector does not establish compounded-medication eligibility. Brand GLP-1s use a separate membership with medication billed separately; the generics plan is another distinct offer. The provider comparison helps compare disclosures, while pharmacy checks cover the questions a platform name cannot answer.

Compounded semaglutideInjection$313.94/mo$289 every 28 days

Prices are taken from Found's own site and current as of this update. Real monthly cost folds in required fees and turns four-week billing into calendar months; that's our math.

Also offered, with no standing monthly price published: Orforglipron (tablet), Wegovy (tablet), Zepbound (injection).

Compounded semaglutide skips FDA approval: no one at the FDA judges whether it is safe, whether it works, or how well it was made before a pharmacy sends it out.

What signing up looks like

  1. Choose the payment route

Compare cash and insurance clinical care, the exact plan duration and all upfront charges.

  2. Have a clinical assessment

Found describes text-based cash care in most cases and video visits with insurance. Prescribing is not guaranteed.

  3. Confirm the pharmacy and preparation

Ask which pharmacy will fill the prescription and request formulation, storage, shipping and testing information.

  4. Review follow-up and renewals

Found says its care team checks in monthly. Its policy recommends cancellation or pause at least 48 hours before renewal.

Who prescribes, and the pharmacy

Found’s terms separate its platform from independent medical groups, including Pippen Health, Cloud Health Medical Group, Adept Labs/Vital and Openloop Healthcare Partners; the consent also names SteadyMD Physician Group. Found describes board-certified clinicians but that description does not independently establish the assigned clinician’s credentials. Its product pages describe state-licensed compounding pharmacies operating under section 503A and third-party potency, purity and sterility testing. The reviewed pages do not identify your dispensing pharmacy or provide a report specific to the dispensed medicine. Those claims do not establish FDA approval, pharmacy assignment or current licensing in your state.

Where Found does well

  • Separates one-cycle prices, first-cycle offers and longer prepaid plan figures.
  • States that compounded GLP-1 prices remain the same across doses.
  • Names clinical groups in its terms and telehealth consent.
  • Explains the different visit model and cost sharing for insurance members.
  • Includes coaching, app tools and community access in the stated program.

What to check first

  • Enrollment plus 28-day renewals creates 14 payment dates in the first 365 days; annualized cost is a different figure.
  • The lowest headline requires a prepaid plan; confirm its covered weeks and renewal terms.
  • Membership-refund timing is ambiguous, and preferred-drug denial alone does not qualify.
  • The insurance-state selector does not establish compounded-drug availability for your address.
  • The actual pharmacy, testing report, labs and insurance cost sharing need confirmation.

Questions about Found

How much does Found cost?
The calculated standing-price calendar-month equivalents are $313.94 for semaglutide and $389.99 for tirzepatide. Actual cash payments follow 28-day cycles. Introductory and prepaid offers differ; labs and insurance cost sharing may add charges.
Does Found take insurance?
Eligible insurance can cover clinical services, with video visits and applicable cost sharing. Found’s billing consent excludes the subscription and compounded medication from coverage. Government-insurance exclusions apply.
Can I get a refund from Found?
The membership policy’s three-day and first-consultation wording is ambiguous; request the governing deadline in writing. All-treatment medical disqualification has a separate membership-refund exception. Dispensed or shipped medicine and lab kits, copays and renewals are nonrefundable.
Does the price change with dose?
Found’s compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide pages state one price across doses. That does not guarantee a prescription or override the selected plan’s commitment and renewal terms.
Are branded drugs included?
The branded GLP-1 membership is a separate offer with medicine billed separately by the pharmacy or manufacturer program. Confirm eligibility, the supply unit, current medication offer and clinical fees.
