GoodLife Health review
The short answer: GoodLife Health charges one flat monthly membership for care and four lab panels a year, and prescribes only brand-name GLP-1s. The drug itself is billed separately by the pharmacy.

Our take on GoodLife Health
GoodLife Health works differently from most GLP-1 programs on this site. It doesn't sell medication at all. You pay one flat monthly membership for clinical care, and if a clinician prescribes a GLP-1, it's a brand-name drug: Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound or Mounjaro, never a compounded version. The membership costs the same whichever drug or dose you end up on, and GoodLife says it takes no markup on medication. The drug is billed separately by whoever fills it, so your real monthly cost is the membership plus the drug's own price.
That second number is the one GoodLife won't give you. Its pricing page says it doesn't quote medication prices, because the pharmacy or the drugmaker's self-pay program sets them. Prescriptions go to Novo Nordisk's self-pay pharmacy for Wegovy and Ozempic, to Lilly's for Zepbound and Mounjaro, to a partner pharmacy, or through your insurance if your plan covers it. Before you join, look up the current self-pay price for the drug and dose you expect; the Wegovy cost guide and Zepbound cost guide are good places to start.
What the membership buys is unusually thorough. It includes a full lab panel every 90 days, drawn at a local Quest, covering lipids, ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP, A1c, fasting insulin, thyroid, a metabolic panel and a blood count. You start with a video visit with an assigned clinician, then monthly check-ins and secure messaging. The program can also prescribe hormone therapy, such as estradiol patches, progesterone or testosterone where state and federal law allow, under the same fee.
The pace is slow by design. The first charge covers two months, refunded in full if a clinician can't accept you but not refundable once you're accepted. Labs and a written plan come in those first two months, so if a GLP-1 is prescribed it typically starts around month three. After that the membership runs month to month, and you can cancel by email or in the member portal; partial months aren't refunded. Disputes go to binding arbitration with a class-action waiver, and you have 30 days to opt out by email.
GoodLife’s terms distinguish its clinician-owned Arizona medical practice from the management company that handles technology and administration. Its website names a physician-network partner and says it serves all 50 states. Ask which clinician and medical group will manage your individual care; a company-wide service-area claim is not a guarantee that every prescription is available everywhere. A named team and corporate structure are useful disclosures, but they do not independently verify credentials or predict the outcome of treatment. To compare it with brand programs that print a drug price, see the brand Wegovy and Zepbound lineup.

What signing up looks like
Check your eligibility
Answer five clinical questions online. Nothing is charged until the membership is confirmed.
Join and meet your clinician
Pay the first two months, then have a video visit with your assigned clinician, who orders your first lab panel.
Labs, then a written plan
Labs are drawn at a local Quest. Your clinician reviews the results with you and writes a plan by the end of month two.
Prescription and monthly care
Any brand-name GLP-1 goes to the drugmaker's pharmacy, a partner pharmacy or your insurance, which bills you directly. Monthly check-ins follow.
Who prescribes, and the pharmacy
Licensed clinicians under a clinician-owned Arizona practice prescribe, with direct care from an independent physician group licensed in all 50 states. GoodLife isn't a pharmacy: brand-name GLP-1s go to the drugmakers' own self-pay pharmacies, a partner pharmacy or your insurance, and no dispensing pharmacy is named.
Where GoodLife Health does well
- Four comprehensive lab panels a year, including ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP, A1c and fasting insulin, are in the membership.
- One membership fee whatever drug or dose is prescribed, with no markup on the medication.
- Prescribes only brand-name, FDA-approved GLP-1s, never compounded versions or peptides.
- Starts with a video visit with an assigned clinician, then monthly check-ins and messaging.
- Publishes its corporate structure, owners and the physician group that delivers care.
What to check first
- The drug isn't in the membership and its price isn't quoted. Look up the self-pay price before you join.
- The first charge covers two months and isn't refundable once you're accepted. Be sure before you start.
- A GLP-1, if prescribed, usually starts around month three, after labs and planning. Plan for the wait.
- Ask which clinician and medical group will manage your individual care in your state.
- Patient testimonials do not establish the outcome you will have or substitute for a clinical evaluation.
It fits you if
You want brand-name GLP-1 care with regular, in-depth lab work and a named clinician, and you're comfortable paying a membership on top of the drug's own price.
Look elsewhere if
You want one price that includes the medication, a compounded GLP-1, or to start treatment within days rather than months.

Questions about GoodLife Health

- Does GoodLife Health prescribe compounded semaglutide?
- No. It prescribes only brand-name, FDA-approved GLP-1s such as Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound and Mounjaro, and says it never provides compounded GLP-1s.
- What labs are included?
- A full panel every 90 days at a local Quest: lipids, ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP, A1c, fasting insulin, thyroid, a metabolic panel and a blood count. Extra tests your clinician orders are billed by the lab.
- Can I cancel GoodLife Health?
- After the two-month start, the membership runs month to month and you can cancel by email or in the member portal. The first two months are refunded only if a clinician can't accept you.
- Which states does GoodLife Health serve?
- It says it serves all 50 states, and the eligibility check confirms availability where you live.
