Our take on Shed

Shed’s current one-month product plans list compounded semaglutide at $199 and tirzepatide at $299. Its help-center pricing gives the same standard injection figures and separates lower-dose, drops, lozenge and optional premium plans. The lower banner prices apply to longer commitments, rather than a single unrestricted month. General subscription terms describe monthly renewal on the original billing date and refer to a two-month minimum. Confirm that minimum and the complete amount you must pay before starting; a one-month price label does not mean you can always leave after one charge. The tirzepatide cost guide helps compare commitments and ongoing charges.

Longer medication programs have their own supply and refund rules. The terms describe 24 weeks of medication for a six-month subscription and 48 weeks for a twelve-month subscription, shipped in cycles according to location and fulfillment requirements. Those supplies are shorter than six or twelve complete calendar months. For multi-month cancellation, the deadline is at least 72 hours before the next scheduled shipment; the ordinary monthly subscription section instead uses the next billing date. A dispatched cycle counts as fully used. Where a refund qualifies, used months can be repriced at the month-to-month rate, reducing the remaining refund. Lack of results or a change of mind does not ordinarily qualify under that section. Different protections apply to provider-confirmed inability to continue, adverse reactions, service disruption and other specified exceptions; the blanket claim that every billed amount is always nonrefundable would be inaccurate.

The 120-day guarantee is separate from ordinary cancellation. Its current terms require first-time use of the eligible medication class, continued clinical eligibility, four monthly coaching appointments, two logged weights per calendar month, at least half of daily app check-ins and timely provider forms. The test is whether the member loses five percent of baseline weight or reaches the recorded goal within the specified window, with a claim deadline after that window. This is a conditional commercial refund policy, not clinical evidence that a compounded preparation achieves a promised result. One subsection describes refunds including medication amounts collected by Shed, while a general subsection describes the promise as program fees only. Ask which written scope applies before relying on it. A guarantee refund also does not automatically cancel the remaining subscription.

Shed describes itself as an administrative and technology platform, with medical decisions made by an independent physician-owned or licensed provider group. Its terms make the clinician responsible for whether care is written, live or otherwise appropriate; state law is not the only consideration. Product pages advertise unlimited provider follow-ups, but clinical cadence still depends on the provider. The terms name Boothwyn, Custom Ivy, DCA, Everwell, Promise and Strive pharmacies, with DCA repeated in the list. Naming those partners is useful disclosure, not independent confirmation of licenses or a promise that a particular pharmacy will fill your order. Confirm the assigned practice and dispensing location, testing expectations, preparation and delivery timeline. Shipping estimates follow approval and pharmacy work; they are not an assessment-to-door guarantee.

Other plans require separate scrutiny. The microdose, drops and lozenge menus distinguish formulations and prices; their presence does not establish the same absorption, outcomes or safety as approved products. Brand access separates the clinical-service arrangement from medication purchased through the manufacturer’s pharmacy channel. The terms also describe distinct six- and twelve-month Care Membership commitments, billed every two months, with placeholder dollar amounts and early-termination repricing. Those memberships explicitly differ from multi-month compounded medication subscriptions. Do not carry one plan’s fee, renewal interval, refund rule or cancellation right into another. Ask for the exact agreement, amount charged, supply and optional premium upgrade before accepting a brand or longer-term quote. The tirzepatide lineup and billing checklist provide practical comparison questions.

Prices are taken from Shed's own site and current as of this update. Real monthly cost folds in required fees and turns four-week billing into calendar months; that's our math.

Compounded semaglutide skips FDA approval: no one at the FDA judges whether it is safe, whether it works, or how well it was made before a pharmacy sends it out.

What signing up looks like

  1. Pick a treatment and answer questions

Choose the drug and plan on the product page, then fill in a short online health history.

  2. A provider reviews your answers

A licensed provider from an independent medical group decides if you qualify. Clinical judgment and state rules determine the visit format.

  3. A partner pharmacy fills it

The order goes to one of the compounding pharmacies listed in Shed's terms, chosen by your dose and shipping address.

  4. Confirm approval and shipping time

Ask for the preparation and shipping estimate after approval and for temperature-handling instructions. Transit time is not total delivery time.

Who prescribes, and the pharmacy

Prescriptions come from licensed providers in an independent, physician-owned provider group, not from Shed itself; the visit is a written review or a live call depending on your state. Shed's terms list six compounding pharmacies by name and street address (Boothwyn Pharmacy, Custom Ivy Pharmacy, DCA Pharmacy, Everwell Pharmacy, Promise Pharmacy and Strive Pharmacy) and say orders are assigned automatically by dose and location. Brand drugs go to the maker's own pharmacy channel, which you pay directly.

Where Shed does well

  • Month-to-month prices for injections, drops and lozenges are printed on the product pages, not held back for the intake.
  • Its terms name six distinct pharmacy partners with street addresses; confirm the one assigned to your order.
  • Follow-up visits are free, and dose changes don't add a visit fee.
  • The terms describe portal and support cancellation routes, with different billing and shipment deadlines.
  • Clinical modality and treatment availability depend on location, provider judgment and the selected program.

What to check first

  • The general subscription terms reference a two-month minimum. Confirm your plan’s complete commitment.
  • Monthly cancellation uses a 72-hour billing deadline; longer medication programs use the next shipment and separate exceptions.
  • The banner figure requires a longer commitment. Confirm payments, total supply and early-termination repricing.
  • Brand access and Care Membership terms need a complete written quote; some legal fee fields are unresolved placeholders.
  • You can't choose the compounding pharmacy. Check the shipment insert and keep it with your records.

Questions about Shed

How much does Shed cost a month?
Compounded tirzepatide is $299 a month and compounded semaglutide $199 on the one-month plan. Longer prepaid plans lower the monthly figure, and subscription terms include a two-month minimum. Confirm the exact commitment and charge schedule.
Can I cancel Shed after one month?
Not usually. Shed's terms set a two-month minimum, and you need to cancel at least 72 hours before the next billing date. Ordinary paid fees are generally nonrefundable, but longer-program and medically directed exceptions have separate rules.
Which pharmacy fills Shed prescriptions?
Shed's terms list six compounding pharmacies. The one that fills your order is picked automatically by dose and shipping address, and it's named on the insert in your shipment.
Does Shed offer a money-back guarantee?
Yes, with first-time-user, coaching, weight-log, check-in and provider-form conditions. Refund-scope wording differs within the terms, and a guarantee refund does not itself cancel the subscription.
Does Shed prescribe brand Zepbound or Wegovy?
Yes. Brand access separates care-service charges from medication billed by the manufacturer’s pharmacy channel. Confirm the selected membership fee, interval and commitment in writing; other Care Membership terms use different schedules.
