Our take on Brightmeds
Brightmeds publishes month-to-month compounded semaglutide at $129 and tirzepatide at $149, alongside lower monthly equivalents for packs prepaid for three months. Its GLP-1 subscription policy expressly defines billing as monthly, starting on the subscription or renewal date. A guarantee’s separate definition of a four-week medicine supply does not turn the charge schedule into every 28 days. The offer says the price covers the prescribed medication, provider oversight and standard shipping. Optional services, expedited delivery and ancillary fees have their own conditions. Compare the complete offer using the semaglutide cost guide.
The current GLP-1 offer has narrower conditions than a general company-wide availability statement. It lists 38 states plus DC, says no laboratory or separate prescribing fee applies to that offer, and identifies B6 as its additive. Other additives may have different prices depending on the state. Customers already using a GLP-1 or transferring a prescription are told to contact support for pricing. Ask which offer applies to your actual product, whether the first and later orders have the same terms and how the three-month pack renews. A discounted monthly equivalent is not a promise of a cancellable monthly payment.
Payment begins with an authorization hold rather than necessarily an immediate captured charge. The subscription policy says review is typically within 24 hours, but permits automatic capture if the decision remains pending after five days. If the clinician does not approve treatment, held or captured money is returned, with captured refunds generally taking five to ten business days. If approved, the patient must read the prescription notice in the portal and request any change before shipping. This is care arranged through independent clinical organizations: the general terms name M & D Integrations and TelegraMD, while the telehealth consent names OpenLoop Healthcare Partners. Ask which clinician and organization are responsible for your own treatment. Neither a payment hold nor a promotional acceptance message guarantees a prescription.
The subscription policy requires cancellation at least five business days before renewal, through the dashboard, email or phone. Canceling after a medicine has been compounded, dispensed or shipped does not stop that order’s charge. Promotional price-lock wording applies only while the subscription remains continuously active; canceling or interrupting it can lose that rate. Other prepaid offers need their own renewal and refund confirmation. Brightmeds describes U.S. state-licensed pharmacies chosen by state but does not identify the location assigned to every order. Its separate outcome guarantee has detailed reporting and coaching conditions and a days 168–190 request window; it also uses both 168 and 180 days of continued treatment. Confirm that conflict before relying on a refund. The guarantee is a commercial remedy, not evidence of an individual outcome.
The decision is therefore about documented service and financial terms as well as the medicine. Ask which clinician reviews the intake, whether a live appointment is available, which pharmacy supplies the preparation and what happens if side effects interrupt a prepaid course. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved. A guarantee does not establish that an individual will achieve a particular result. Use the billing checklist and pharmacy checklist to organize those answers. The semaglutide lineup compares programs with documented terms without converting an unresolved billing interval into a price recommendation.
What Brightmeds costs
| Product | Real monthly cost | |
|---|---|---|
| Compounded semaglutideInjection | $129/mo | $129/mo |
| Compounded tirzepatideInjection | $149/mo | $149/mo |
Prices are taken from Brightmeds's own site and current as of this update. Real monthly cost folds in required fees and turns four-week billing into calendar months; that's our math.
Also offered, with no standing monthly price published: Compounded semaglutide microdose (injection), Compounded tirzepatide microdose (injection), Zepbound (vial).
Compounded semaglutide skips FDA approval: no one at the FDA judges whether it is safe, whether it works, or how well it was made before a pharmacy sends it out.

What signing up looks like
Answer the online intake
A short health questionnaire asks about your history and your state. Prices are on the offer page before you start.
A clinician reviews it
An affiliated clinician reviews the intake. An authorization can be captured after five days if review remains pending; non-approval returns the amount.
A licensed pharmacy fills it
A U.S. state-licensed compounding pharmacy prepares the prescription. Brightmeds uses several, depending on your state.
Delivery and refills
The policy describes monthly renewal and five-business-day cancellation notice. Confirm preparation and delivery timing for your order.
Who prescribes, and the pharmacy
Brightmeds says it doesn't provide medical or pharmacy care itself. Its terms name the medical groups M & D Integrations and TelegraMD, and its telehealth consent names OpenLoop Healthcare Partners; a clinician reviews your intake online. Orders go to U.S. state-licensed compounding pharmacies chosen by state, which the company doesn't name.
Where Brightmeds does well
- A GLP-1-specific policy defines monthly billing separately from the length of a medicine supply.
- No membership fee, and the GLP-1 offer needs no lab fee.
- Its terms name the medical groups behind the care, and say which three states it doesn't serve.
- You pay nothing if a clinician decides treatment isn't right for you.
- Cancel or pause month-to-month plans from your account or by email.
What to check first
- Cancel at least five business days before renewal; a processed medication order may still be charged.
- The current offer lists 38 states plus DC; the company-wide terms describe a broader service area.
- Already on a GLP-1? The offer page says to contact support for your price. Get it in writing before you switch.
- No pharmacy is named, and the terms say it may change. Ask support which pharmacy serves your state.
- The outcome guarantee uses both 168 and 180-day continuation terms; confirm which conditions govern your plan.
It fits you if
You want published monthly GLP-1 charges with clinical review and can accept the advance cancellation deadline and pharmacy-disclosure limits.
Look elsewhere if
You live in Alabama, Arkansas or Mississippi, you want the pharmacy named before you order, or you already take a GLP-1 and want a published transfer price.

Questions about Brightmeds
- How much does Brightmeds cost a month?
- The current month-to-month offer is $129 for semaglutide and $149 for tirzepatide. Three-month prepaid packs advertise lower equivalents. Confirm eligibility, the exact preparation and optional charges in the order confirmation.
- Is Brightmeds billed monthly or every four weeks?
- The GLP-1 subscription policy explicitly defines a monthly billing period beginning on the start or renewal date. A separate four-week supply definition in the guarantee does not establish four-week card charges.
- Which states does Brightmeds serve?
- The general terms exclude Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi. The current GLP-1 offer lists 38 states plus DC, with different conditions for other additives and transfers. Confirm the exact product and offer for your state.
- Can I get my money back?
- The GLP-1 policy returns held or charged money if a clinician does not approve treatment. Processed medication charges are generally non-refundable. The separate outcome guarantee has reporting/coaching conditions and inconsistent 168/180-day language; confirm its applicable rules.
- How do I cancel Brightmeds?
- Use the dashboard, email or phone at least five business days before the next renewal. If medicine has already been prepared or dispatched, that order remains chargeable and cancellation applies to the following period.
